Overview

Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) role at MATRIX BEHAVIOR SOLUTIONS, LLC. This onsite position offers a competitive pay of $20-25 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 behavioral health intervention to individuals ages 2 to 21, under supervision of a Behavior Consultant (BC) and Assistant-Behavior Consultant (A-BC).
• Implement treatment plans in homes, schools, daycares, and community settings.
• Deliver interventions focused on social skills, life skills, and adaptive functioning; transfer skills to clients and caregivers.
• Participate in ongoing training and supervision to enhance skills.
• Complete necessary paperwork daily and submit weekly reports; engage in direct client interaction.
• Ensure compliance with IBHS regulations and MCO guidelines as outlined in Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP).

Qualifications

• Education/Experience options:
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, education, or criminal justice with no prior work experience; or
  • Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 1 year of direct work experience with children or adolescents; or
  • Associate degree or 60 credits toward a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of direct work experience with children or adolescents; or
  • LPN with at least 3 years of direct work experience with children or adolescents; or
  • High school diploma and 40-hour RBT training certification with name of trainer.
• Must have a driver's license.

Salary: $20 - $25 per hour

Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts, and clearances to work with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34 and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR Verification and hold an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
