The Wood Group is seeking a compassionate Behavioral Health Technician in Wichita Falls, TX for a part-time PRN role. You will help ensure resident safety, follow the facility menu, and complete daily charting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in behavioral health preferred.
• Prior experience in mental health, behavioral health, or social services is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
• Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
• Knowledge of behavioral health practices, safety protocols, and crisis intervention.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Flexibility to work PRN hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
• Cook and serve meals; follow the facility menu as posted.
• Complete items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
• Ensure that residents are treated with dignity and respect.
• Supervise resident medication procedures; ensure proper timing and narcotics are counted and documented.
• Daily chart documentation.
• Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures and employee handbook.

Below are a few job duties to expect as a Behavioral Health Tech:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
• Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.
• Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
• Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.
• Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.
• Daily chart documentation
• Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures to include employee handbook.
