Job summary

The Wood Group is seeking a compassionate PRN Behavioral Health Technician in Wichita Falls, TX to support residents in a mental health facility. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives.

Responsibilities include safety supervision, meal service, medication oversight, and daily charting, with a focus on dignity and supportive care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in behavioral health or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in mental health, behavioral health, or social services is advantageous.
• Flexibility to work PRN hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Cook and serve meals; follow facility menu.
• Complete items on the facility Chore Sheet as directed.
• Treat all residents with dignity and respect.
• Supervise resident medication procedures; count and document narcotics on each shift.
• Maintain daily chart documentation.
• Be familiar with The Wood Group's policy and procedures, including the employee handbook.

Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated PRN Behavioral Health Technician to join our mental health facility. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals receiving mental health support.

• Overnight & Daytime PRN staff ( needed for call outs)

Below are a few job duties to expect as a Behavioral Health Tech:

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.


• Cook and serve meals. Follow the facility menu as posted.


• Responsible for completing items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.


• Responsible for assuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect.


• Responsible for the supervision of all resident medication procedures. Ensure that all residents receive their proper medication at the proper time. All narcotics will be counted and documented on each shift.


• Daily chart documentation


• Be familiar with The Wood Group's policy and procedures to include employee handbook.

Requirements
