We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, located in Richardson, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in Richardson, TX?

Centria Health seeks Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families affected by autism. Your responsibilities include implementing learning programs, collecting data on target behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with your direct supervisor. You will build trust with the child and family in their home within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our comprehensive paid behavioral health training will prepare you to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), guiding their developmental growth and managing challenging behaviors under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will utilize evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors and styles.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
• Using evidence-based techniques to engage children through physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and occasionally carrying children or objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
