We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician to work in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Murphy, Texas, United States.

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism. Your responsibilities will include implementing learning programs, collecting data on behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with your direct leader. You will build trust and care within the child's home environment, located within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our paid behavioral health training will prepare you to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), guiding their development and managing challenging behaviors under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

Your typical day will involve:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors and styles.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans, which may include physical and mental exercises.
• Engaging actively with children through physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and sometimes carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
