We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician to work in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Coppell, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in Coppell, TX?

Centria Health is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children and families with autism. Your responsibilities include implementing learning programs, collecting data on target behaviors, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining client confidentiality, and meeting regularly with your supervisor. You will work within the child's home, located within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our comprehensive paid behavioral health training will prepare you to impact the developmental growth of children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), you will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reduce interfering behaviors.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized behavioral intervention plans.
• Engaging actively with children through physical activities, which may include standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
