We're looking for a Behavioral Health Technician in the Healthcare Systems and Services industry, located in Irving, Texas, United States.

Are you a compassionate caregiver with at least a high school diploma (or GED) residing in Irving, TX?

Centria Health seeks Behavioral Health Technicians to work one-on-one with children with autism, implementing learning programs, collecting behavioral data, communicating with stakeholders, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with your direct supervisor. You will build trust with the child and family in their home, within 15 minutes of your residence.

Our paid behavioral health training prepares you to support children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), guiding their developmental growth using evidence-based techniques under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will help teach communication, social, and daily living skills, and reduce interfering behaviors.

What your day will look like:

• Providing one-on-one developmental and behavioral support in the child's home, adapting techniques to various behaviors.
• Partnering with a BCBA to implement individualized intervention plans, including physical and mental exercises.
• Engaging children with evidence-based techniques, involving activities like standing, walking, sitting, grasping, reaching, bending, kneeling, crouching, squatting, lifting, and sometimes carrying children or objects up to 50 pounds.
