Lifepoint Health is hiring a Behavioral Health Tech for a full-time night shift in-person role. You will support patients with daily living activities and assist with direct patient care and interventions in a hospital setting.

The position emphasizes observation of patient behavior, timely reporting to nursing staff, and crisis intervention to maintain unit safety. CNA preferred; BLS and HWC required within 45 days of hire.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• CNA Preferred.
• BLS and HWC must be obtained within 45 days of hire.

How you'll contribute

• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living.
• Provides or assists with providing direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observes and records patient behavior and activities. Reports any changes in physical, mental or emotional condition to nursing staff and suggests modifications to the treatment plan.
• Provides crisis intervention with incoming calls and on the unit to maintain safety.
