Job summary

Sycamore Springs, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to join its care team. The role supports patients with daily living activities, participates in care, and helps implement treatment plans in an evening shift with every-other-weekend rotation.

The position emphasizes compassionate, attentive observation, reporting changes to nursing staff, and upholding safety and quality standards in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred
• BLS Certification
• CNA license preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living
• Provide or assist with patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities
• Report changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Suggest modifications to treatment plan as needed

How you'll contribute
