Job summary

Sycamore Springs Behavioral Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) to work 3:00pm-11:00pm with every other weekend rotation. The role focuses on assisting patients with daily living activities and supporting therapeutic interventions within our behavioral health unit.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, BLS certification, and a preference for CNA licensure. Prior behavioral health experience is valued and professional development opportunities are

• Minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred.
• BLS Certification.
• CNA license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with performing activities of daily living.
• Provide or assist with providing patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observe and record patient behavior and activities.
• Report on changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff.
• Suggest modifications to treatment plan as needed.
