Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians for its inpatient detox and residential facility in Aurora, CO. You will manage daily residential operations, support the BHT team, and help maintain a warm recovery environment for clients.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, CPR certification, and a commitment to recovery principles. Strong leadership and compassionate communication are essential.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

Manage all daily residential operations ( Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications ).
Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities.
Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment.
Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.

What You'll Do
