Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician for our inpatient detox and residential facility in Aurora, CO. The role supports daily operations, client care, and team training to sustain a safe, supportive recovery environment.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma or GED, CPR certification preferred, and the ability to lead with warmth and firmness in a recovery-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale to maintain a positive recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with Avenues rules and procedures.

What You'll Do

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures

What We're Looking For

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles
