Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Aurora, CO is hiring a Behavioral Health Technician to support daily residential operations in our inpatient detox and residential facility. You will oversee intake, supervision, events, transportation, meals and medications; train the BHT team; respond to crises and ensure a warm, recovery‑oriented environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CPR certification preferred, and, if in recovery, at least one year sober.

• Valid driver's license and CPR certification preferred.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (intake, supervision, events, transportation, meals, medications).
• Train and support BHT team in operations and responsibilities.
• Escalate concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician.
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm recovery environment.
• Ensure client and BHT compliance with all Avenues rules, policies and procedures.

What You'll Do

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.)
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities

Salary: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
