Job summary

Delta-T Group Maryland, Inc. seeks a Behavioral Health Technician to provide residential care for a trauma-focused program serving youths aged 13–17 in Arnold, MD.

The role is available as an independent contractor with flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons, and overnights. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma, 2+ years in a residential setting, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic and behavioral support to children and youth in the residential program.

• Assist with daily living skills including hygiene, dressing, and personal possessions.
• Assist in healthy eating by preparing meals and snacks.
• Support life skills development and participation in activities and outings.

Our Client is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to provide for residential care to support trauma-focused residential program for youth ages 13–17 recovering from human trafficking and complex trauma in Arnold Area.

• Morning 7am-3pm, Afternoon 3pm-11pm and overnight 11am-7pm available 7 days a week with flexible Shifts.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Provide therapeutic and/or behavioral support to children and youth participating in the residential program.
• Implement daily activities, individual plan treatment goals, and monitor resident behavior.
• Assist in monitoring residents’ daily living skills, including personal hygiene, dressing, and care of possessions.
• Assist in supporting healthy eating behaviors by preparing meals and snacks.
• Assist in monitoring and increasing resident life skills development.
• Develop, implement, and participate in all resident activities and outings, including recreational activities, education and vocational training.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
