Job summary

Delta-T Group North Jersey, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Health technician to provide 1:1 services in Philadelphia and surrounding areas. The role includes behavioral interventions, crisis management, and collaboration with a treatment team.

You will monitor and document behaviors daily and submit logs with your timesheet, while implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) as part of the plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human service field is required.
• If you hold a different degree, you must have 1 year of paid experience with children/adolescents.
• An associate degree or 60 college credits with 1 year experience with children/adolescents is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 services in school/community settings for students with behavioral health challenges.
• Implement behavioral interventions and crisis management and redirect behaviors.
• Collaborate with treatment team to contribute to treatment plans.
• Monitor behaviors and document daily progress and weekly logs.
• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

One of our clients is seeking a Behavior Health technician to provide service in the Philadelphia & surrounding areas. Competitive rate up to $20/Hr.

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Provide 1:1 services in a school/community settings for middle and high school students with severe behavioral & emotional challenges.
• Provide behavioral interventions and crisis management, positively redirecting the behaviors of children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses.
• Collaborate with treatment team to provide input and feedback that contributes to the development of a child's treatment plan.
• Monitor child's behaviors by documentation and redirecting challenging behaviors daily & turning in the log at weeks end along with your time sheet.
• Implement Applied Behavior Analysis.

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service related field including Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, Behavioral Health, or other social services related field.
• Bachelor's Degree in unrelated field requires 1 year full-time paid experience working with children or adolescents.
• associates Degree or sixty (60) college credits requires 1 year full-time paid experience working with children or adolescents.
• Ability to complete and pass clearances: FBI, Child Abuse (ACT 126), and Criminal.
• Must be able to produce current medical/health documents including: physical examination, Tuberculosis/TB Skin Test, CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must complete client's CBH Core Trainings
• Must complete the client's Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Training
