Job summary

Central Carolina Hospital in Sanford, NC, is seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to join our team. You will assist patients with activities of daily living and support direct patient care, observing and recording patient behavior to inform care decisions.

Qualifications

• BLS within 45 days of hire.
• Handle with Care (HWC) within 45 days of hire.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living.
• Provides or assists with direct patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions.
• Observes and records patient behavior; reports changes to nursing staff and suggests treatment adjustments.
• Provides crisis intervention with incoming calls and on unit to maintain safety.
