Integrated Family Services, PLLC is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician I to provide non-clinical support at the Behavioral Health Urgent Care (BHUC) center in Greenville, SC. The role emphasizes safety, engagement, and collaboration with clinical staff in crisis stabilization.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED with preferred associate's degree in human services and 1+ year in behavioral health. Benefits include life insurance, PTO, holidays, 401K, FMLA, and education leave.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in behavioral health or related human services field preferred.
• Training in de-escalation, crisis response, or CPI certification preferred (within 90 days of hire).
• Ability to interact effectively with individuals in crisis and work on a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Monitor clients to ensure safety and de-escalate situations.
• Engage clients and assist with facility orientation and basic needs.
• Document observations and incidents per Medicaid and BHUC standards.
• Support clinical staff during crisis interventions and safety planning.
• Escort clients during transfers and maintain clean areas.
• Participate in staff meetings and trainings.
