Job summary

Missouri Baptist Sullivan Hospital is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct patient care on the night shift in Sullivan, Missouri. You will work under supervision to assist licensed nurses, perform ADLs, monitor vitals, and support patient safety.

This role includes rotating weekends and holidays, with a focus on patient-centered care and collaboration with the nursing team. Prior CNA certification is required; no prior experience necessary for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification required.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Implements direct patient care under the supervision of the nurse and promotes patient and family centered care.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), performs vital signs, intake/output, fall and pressure ulcer prevention, urinary catheter care, phlebotomy, or point of care testing as requested.
• Collects clinical data and reports changes in patient status to the nurse.
• Assists with patient and family education; documents care activities with proper terminology.
• Acts as 1:1 safety sitter as needed; ensures supplies and equipment are available.
