Job summary

Collage Rehabilitation Partners in Covington, LA is hiring a Full-Time Behavior Health Technician to support residents with brain injury in our residential programs. You will implement behavioral training, monitor progress, and document daily data and incident reports.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and responsible driving behaviors must be maintained.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implements behavioral training and documents data daily.
• Models appropriate behavior and provides positive reinforcement.
• Assists residents in ADLs and participates in activities.
• Transports residents to appointments and community activities.
• Completes daily documentation such as data, charts, and incident reports.
• Performs housekeeping duties like laundry and cleaning.

We are searching for Full-Time Behavior Health Technicians to work in our residential programs located in Covington, LA. Behavior Technicians provide direct care services to people with behavioral challenges as a result of brain injury.

Schedule: 7a-7p

Duties:

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis
• Assists residents in ADL's (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports)
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.)
