Job summary

ReMed, a Collage Rehabilitation Partner in Covington, LA, is seeking Weekend Behavior Health Technicians to provide direct care for adults with brain injury in residential programs.

Responsibilities include implementing behavioral training, documenting data, assisting with ADLs, and transporting residents to activities and appointments. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs. Schedule: 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Implements facility wide behavioral training as well as individual behavioral protocols, completing the necessary documentation.
• Models appropriate behavior provides positive reinforcement and corrective feedback on a daily basis.
• Assists residents in ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living includes bathing, transfers, toileting and physical assistance), assists and participates in physical, vocational and recreational activities.
• Transports residents to medical appointments, vocational, recreational, educational activities in the community.
• Completes all daily needed documentation (i.e. behavioral data, token exchange, shift summaries, house charts, checklists, medication administration records, and incident reports).
• Completes all housekeeping chores (i.e. laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc.).
