Job summary

Adult & Child Health seeks a Behavioral Health Technician I in Indianapolis to provide direct and supportive care in a residential setting. You will monitor vital signs, support treatment plans, and assist with safe medication practices under nursing supervision.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Experience in human services preferred.
• Knowledge of confidential treatment records and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and withdrawal symptoms; escalate to medical staff as needed.
• Assist with medication administration under supervision and maintain accurate records.
• Support client/patient care, safety, and therapeutic environment.
• Document shift activities and communicate concerns to the treatment team.
• Provide transportation or supervision for activities as required.
