Job summary

Silvermist Poconos with Pyramid Healthcare – Lake Ariel, PA is seeking a Part-Time Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). Pay is $17.00/hour with a differential up to $1.50/hour.

This part-time role starts on the 2nd shift and offers a chance to begin or grow a career in behavioral health in a compassionate team setting. The ideal candidate is compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to supporting individuals through their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• A valid driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for clients.
• Build therapeutic relationships; assist with admissions and intake.
• Monitor clients during daily programming; support treatment plan goals.
• Conduct safety rounds and bed checks; monitor medication lines.
• Complete client documentation and shift logs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, structured environment and respond to crises; communicate with the treatment team.
