Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) for the Silvermist Poconos with Pyramid Healthcare, Lake Ariel, PA, on the day shift. This full-time position supports clients through recovery in a safe, structured, and therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Previous behavioral health or mental health experience is a plus (entry-level candidates encouraged to apply)
• Experience facilitating groups or activities preferred

Responsibilities

• Support daily treatment programming and client engagement
• Assist with client intakes and admissions process
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication logs
• Monitor client safety, including bed checks and adherence to schedules
• Provide crisis intervention and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment
• Facilitate or assist with group activities and programming
• Monitor medication line and observe for safety/medical concerns
• Conduct searches as required
• Follow treatment plans and support client interventions
• Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to ethical standards
