Job summary

Care New England's The Providence Center is seeking an Assistant Manager I for the ACT Harmony Team in Providence, RI. The role supports daily operations, supervises staff, manages scheduling, and monitors performance to ensure quality of care and regulatory compliance.

You will lead meetings when the Manager is unavailable, coordinate with Emergency Services and community partners, and assist with client intakes, treatment planning, and crisis response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with behavioral health in community settings.
• Licensure in RI preferred: LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCDP.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager with daily operations, workflow management, and departmental support.
• Support staff scheduling, productivity oversight, and onboarding/training.
• Lead or attend morning and clinical meetings in Manager's absence.
• Oversee documentation quality and adherence to standards.
• Coordinate services with internal teams and external partners.
• Support client intakes, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Ensure compliance with program, regulatory standards, and quality improvement activities.
• Contribute to hiring, coaching, and performance evaluations.
