Job summary

Arista Recovery is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician to support the Facility Director and treatment staff in daily operations, patient supervision, and safety. The role involves coordinating intake support, monitoring, and assisting with regulatory compliance while ensuring compassionate care.

Expect responsibilities such as rounds, transporting clients when licensed, conducting tests as required, and reporting concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, two years in related settings preferred.
• Two years experience in relevant patient care or service environment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record for transportation duties.
• Experience in chemical dependency or psychiatric settings preferred.
• Must complete required trainings and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with supervision of patients in daily activities.
• Ensure patients follow clinical schedules and communicate issues to treatment team.
• Transport clients when needed; drive per regulations and safety checks.
• Conduct rounds to ensure safety of rooms and grounds.
• Perform UA and other CLIA-waived tests when required.
• Conduct Breathalyzer tests when required.
• Report suspected abuse, neglect, or safety issues to supervisor.
• Help readiness of rooms for admissions and discharges.
• Maintain a supportive, ethical treatment environment.
• Attend trainings and adapt to changes in operations.
• Maintain facility safety and communicate facility concerns.
