Advanced Recovery Systems (ARS) invites you to join our in Salem, OR as a Behavioral Health Technician. You will observe and monitor patients, document observations, and support activities that promote safety and recovery in a supportive team environment.

The role offers 12-hour shifts with a starting pay up to $22/hr depending on experience and a $2 night-shift differential. Benefits include a 401K match, health/dental/vision, PTO, and access to telemedicine services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in behavioral health or related field preferred.
• CBHT, MHTC, CNA/MA certifications or in-process preferred.

The Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) is responsible for the observation and monitoring of patients in treatment and reporting duties as indicated and contributes to the welfare of the organization and assists patients in a variety of patient activities. Assists in maintaining a safe and secure environment. Works effectively with the facility leadership team to ensure success of the facility by completing the following core job duties:

Schedule: 12-hour shifts. Accepting applications for all shifts/hours.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Coursework or degree in behavioral health or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience in behavioral health, addiction treatment, or a related field preferred. Prior experience in behavioral health, healthcare, or human services in roles with emphasis involving direct customer or client service experience, strongly preferred.
• CNA, MA, Certified Behavioral Health Technician (CBHT), Mental Health Technician Certification (MHTC), trauma-informed care training/certification or in process of obtaining preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with adult patients (18+) preferred
• Good driving record that meets safety and company insurance standards preferred
• CPR and Standard First Aid certification or in process of obtaining preferred
