Job summary

Fulton County Board of Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor Supervisor to provide clinical and administrative oversight for the Ryan White Behavioral Health Program.

The role supervises staff, ensures high-quality mental health services for persons living with HIV, and ensures HRSA HRSA Ryan White program compliance, while promoting trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in counseling or related field and six years of job-related experience, including two years in a lead worker or supervisory role; licensure may be required.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Supervision: supervise counselors and provide consultation on complex cases.
• Program Operations: oversee daily Ryan White Behavioral Health Program operations.
• Client Care: conduct assessments and coordinate referrals to psychiatric services and community resources.
• Compliance and Documentation: ensure HRSA HRSA Ryan White Program standards and HIPAA compliance.
• Quality Improvement: monitor performance measures and develop corrective actions.
• Staff Development: orient and train new staff and conduct annual evaluations.
• Community Collaboration: build partnerships with providers and community organizations.
• Administrative Responsibilities: prepare reports and manage program expenditures.
