Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Lead in Hammonton, NJ. This full-time role oversees BHT supervision, ensures adherence to protocols, and reports issues to the Program Director/BHT Manager. Address: 600 S White Horse Pike, Hammonton, NJ 08037.

Pay starts at $17/hr before shift differentials, with shift differentials of up to $1.50 per hour on nights and weekends. The position requires a high school diploma and CPR/AED/First Aid certification, plus strong communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to supervise and train staff on a health-care unit.

Responsabilités

• Supervises Behavioral Health Technicians and provides performance feedback.
• Orients and trains new staff to the unit and program.
• Assists in interviewing and hiring BHTs.
• Communicates with staff through verbal and written logs.
• Assists with employee disciplinary actions and develops employee schedules.
• Conducts employee performance evaluations. Assists with client interventions and item confiscation.
• Listens to clients and BHTs concerning treatment areas.
• Coordinates activities including lectures, recreation, and meetings with Lead BHTs.
• Follows treatment plan objectives and maintains a therapeutic environment.
• Evaluates the behavioral and emotional needs of clients and provides input.
• Attends necessary trainings and schedules BHTs for training sessions.
• Attends facility meetings and coordinates BHT department meetings.
• Performs clerical duties as needed and other duties as deemed necessary.
