Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Driver to monitor clients, assist with interventions, follow treatment plans, and transport clients to appointments. The position is based at 600 S White Horse Pike, Hammonton, NJ 08037, with a 7:00am–3:00pm shift.

Pay ranges from $16 to $17 per hour before shift differentials. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, CPR within 30 days of hire, and prior experience in hospital or behavioral health

• Active valid driver's license required.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• Prior hospital or behavioral health care or transportation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake process for new clients into program.
• Communicate with staff and maintain client logs.
• Listen to clients about treatment and maintain safe, therapeutic environment including crisis intervention.
• Coordinate lectures, recreation, and meetings.
• Perform bed checks and shift reporting.
• Ensure client schedule is followed daily.
• Follow treatment plan objectives.
• Monitor medication line.
• Transport clients to meetings and recreation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Behavioral Health Technician Driver to monitor clients, assist with interventions, follow treatment plans, and drive the clients to appointments.

Pay: $16 - $17/hour before shift differentials

Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Shift Differentials

• 7:00am - 3:00pm - 1st Shift differentials: (Saturday and Sunday) $1.00
• 3:00pm - 11:00pm - 2nd Shift differentials: (Monday - Friday) $1.00 (Saturday and Sunday) $1.50
• 11:00pm - 7:00am - 3rd Shift Differentials: (Monday - Sunday) $1.50

Education / Experience

• High school diploma or GED equivalent Prior experience in hospital or behavioral healthcare environment, patient care, and/or transportation is a plus.
• Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Active valid driver’s license CPR course required within 30 days of hire
• Completion of various safety trainings upon hire

Responsibilities

• Assist with intake process with new clients into program.
• Communicates with staff either verbally or in written communication logs, responsible for detail client logs.
• Listens to clients concerning all areas of treatment, maintains safe, orderly, and therapeutic physical environment for clients including crisis intervention.
• Coordinates activities including lectures, recreation, and meetings.
• Mandatory bed checks conducted as required per department, complete bed-check sheet for shift reporting.
• Ensures client schedule is being followed daily.
• Follows objectives of treatment plans.
• Monitor medication line.
• Transports clients to meetings and recreation.
• Other duties as assigned.
