Miami Jewish Health, a leading provider of aging-care services in Florida, seeks a Behavioral Health Specialist to deliver comprehensive behavioral health services within our Florida PACE Centers. You will screen, assess, counsel, and refer participants for appropriate treatment, while providing crisis intervention and one-to-one observation under clinical leadership.

Formación

• Master's degree in psychology or clinical social work or clinical mental health counseling.
• 2 years of experience working with adults with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.
• Current Florida State Licensure as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Clinical Mental Health Counselor, or Marriage and Family Therapist.

Responsabilidades

• Provides assessment, treatment planning, counseling, and education services for participants and caregivers.
• Completes psychosocial evaluations to ascertain patient's psychological, emotional needs and referrals.
• Conducts evidence-based group therapy to address psychological, emotional needs.
• Initiates Baker Acts if needed and ensures related paperwork is completed and filed.
