Job summary

COPE Community Services, Inc. in Tucson is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to supervise client care as part of the treatment team. You will help supervise the daily milieu of programs, assist with activities of daily living skills, educational and recovery groups, and activity therapy.

The role requires reading and implementing each client’s treatment plan and providing clients with positive cues and redirection throughout scheduled shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree preferred or
• Associate degree plus one year of behavioral health work experience; Hudgh School diploma plus Peer Support Specialist cert plus two years of behavior health work experience; or High School diploma plus four years of behavioral health work experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and facilitate the daily milieu of programs/services.
• Assist with activities of daily living skills.
• Lead educational and community/recovery groups and activity therapy.
• Read and implement each client's treatment plan.
• Provide clients with positive cues and redirection.
