Clarvida is seeking a Behavioral Health Skills Trainer to support youth aged 3–18 and their families in foster care, adoption, or guardianship. The role focuses on building social, emotional, and independent living skills to foster stability and resilience in home, school, and community settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience; education may substitute for years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record and auto insurance.
• CPR/First Aid and NCI provided by agency.
• Fingerprinting and background checks must be satisfactory.

Responsibilities

• Provide strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth and families in foster care contexts.
• Maintain a small caseload for individualized support and coordinate with caregivers, providers and schools.

About Your Role

The Behavioral Health Skills Trainer provides strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth and families involved in foster care, adoption, or guardianship. Working with youth between the ages 3–18, the Skills Trainer helps children and adolescents develop social, emotional, behavioral, and independent living skills that promote stability, resilience, and success in home, school, and community settings.

About Your Role

The Behavioral Health Skills Trainer provides strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth and families involved in foster care, adoption, or guardianship. Working with youth between the ages 3–18, the Skills Trainer helps children and adolescents develop social, emotional, behavioral, and independent living skills that promote stability, resilience, and success in home, school, and community settings.
The Skills Trainer maintains a small caseload to ensure individualized support and works collaboratively with caregivers, treatment providers, schools, and community partners to coordinate services and promote positive outcomes for youth and families. Skills training is provided during times identified as most relevant to the youth and family.
