Job summary

Clarvida seeks a Behavioral Health Skills Trainer to provide strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth and families involved in foster care, adoption, or guardianship. You will help children aged 3–18 build social, emotional, behavioral, and independent living skills for stability and success.

You will maintain a small caseload and work with caregivers, schools, and providers to coordinate services and promote positive outcomes. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum of one year of relevant experience; additional education may substitute for years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and auto insurance.
• Background checks and fingerprinting clearance required.

• Maintain a small caseload and coordinate with caregivers, treatment providers, schools, and community partners.

About Your Role

The Behavioral Health Skills Trainer provides strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth and families involved in foster care, adoption, or guardianship. Working with youth between the ages 3–18, the Skills Trainer helps children and adolescents develop social, emotional, behavioral, and independent living skills that promote stability, resilience, and success in home, school, and community settings.

About Your Role

The Behavioral Health Skills Trainer provides strengths-based, trauma-informed support to youth and families involved in foster care, adoption, or guardianship. Working with youth between the ages 3–18, the Skills Trainer helps children and adolescents develop social, emotional, behavioral, and independent living skills that promote stability, resilience, and success in home, school, and community settings.
The Skills Trainer maintains a small caseload to ensure individualized support and works collaboratively with caregivers, treatment providers, schools, and community partners to coordinate services and promote positive outcomes for youth and families. Skills training is provided during times identified as most relevant to the youth and family.
