You will work under supervision with adult and adolescent patients, documenting S&R events and ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience interacting directly with individuals in a behavioral health setting.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and professional boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Respond to supervisor, Lead BHT, and charge nurse on duty to monitor safety.
• Participate in Seclusion and Restraint (S&R) activities when necessary to maintain safety.
• Complete all S&R documentation and incident reports.
• Maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA and 42-CFR).
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Assist with maintaining unit cleanliness.
• Monitor patient behaviors and interactions.
• Respond promptly in crisis situations and use de-escalation techniques.
