Job summary

Mercy St. Louis Behavioral Health department is seeking a full-time nurse to assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care. You will serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients and may perform staff nurse duties and take on delegated managerial tasks as needed.

The role offers a Mon-Wed 10am-10pm schedule with every other Thursday, Day One benefits, tuition support, and opportunities for growth within Mercy.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• 2 years' experience in patient care is required.
• Supervisor experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care.
• Serve as clinical resource for staff and patients in Behavioral Health.
• Perform staff nurse duties and assume delegated managerial duties as needed.
