Job summary

Mercy St Louis Behavioral Health is seeking a registered nurse to support the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas. The role serves as a clinical resource for staff and patients, and may operate as a staff nurse when needed.

The position includes managerial duties delegated by a manager and is scheduled full-time—Mon-Wed 10am-10pm with every other Thursday—within Mercy’s mission-driven care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• 2 years' experience in patient care is required.
• Supervisor experience is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of the operations and patient care of designated areas.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
