Job summary

Mercy seeks a dedicated nurse to join the Behavioral Health department in East St. Louis.

The role includes planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating patient care, serving as a clinical resource, and performing staff-nurse duties as needed. This full-time position offers Mon-Wed 10am-10pm with 8-hour rotations every other Thursday, a sign-on bonus up to $10,000, a Stay Premium program, education assistance, and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision and retirement

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program and maintain RN licensure.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Minimum: 2 years’ experience in patient care.
• Supervisor experience preferred and BLS certification or course within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care.
• Serve as a clinical resource for staff and patients in Behavioral Health.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed and may assume delegated managerial duties.
