Mercy is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse in Behavioral Health to support planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation of patient care in designated areas. The role provides clinical support for staff and patients and may require stepping in as a staff nurse when needed.

Managerial duties may be delegated by leadership. Qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program with RN licensure in the hiring state or with compact licensure, and a minimum of 2 years of

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• Two years of patient care experience required; supervisor experience preferred.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, coordination, implementation and evaluation of operations and patient care in designated areas.
• Acts as a clinical resource for staff and patients in the department.
• Functions as a staff nurse in the department as needed.
• Assumes managerial duties delegated by a manager.
