Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Behavioral Health and Psychiatric Unit in Eugene, OR. This 0.8 FTE position offers a DAY shift (8-hour) with a competitive salary range and comprehensive benefits.

The role emphasizes delivering patient-centered care, documentation in the EHR, and collaboration across the clinical team. Required: Oregon RN license and BSN preferred; 1 year inpatient psych experience or 2 years in outpatient psychiatry/ED.

Qualifications

• Requires degree from accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• 1 year inpatient psychiatric experience in last five years, or 2 years outpatient behavioral health/psychiatry or ED experience.
• Oregon nursing license required; Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• Ability to manage agitated patients.
• Proficiency with electronic health records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Accurately document care in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate and delegate care across the clinical team.
• Maintain clinical excellence through ongoing learning and development.
• Support quality, safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards.
