Job summary

Rolling Hills Hospital, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our behavioral health unit. You will provide direct patient care and collaborate with the treatment team, ensuring safety and quality care for patients.

The role supports nights (7 PM–7 AM) with shift differentials and opportunities for training, education, and growth within UHS and its subsidiaries.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Associates degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Valid RN license in the State of Tennessee.
• Nursing experience in behavioral health preferred.
• One year inpatient psychiatric experience with adults and adolescents preferred.
• CPR certification (training provided).
• Handle with Care (HWC) certification (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as prescribed by the physician and treatment team.
• Perform medical management and patient assessments; ensure environmental safety and crisis management.
• Direct implementation of behavior management programs and ensure carry-through.
• Assign patient care tasks to subordinates and monitor duties.
• Provide training and education to staff, patients and families; document care.
• Collaborate with the treatment team to maintain a therapeutic milieu.
