Job summary

Hartford HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Behavioral Health Network. The role supports patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and responds quickly to changes in condition.

Responsibilities include creating a safe milieu, applying age-appropriate care, and promoting professional nursing practice. A Connecticut RN license and BLS are required, with CPI training provided within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse license with state of Connecticut.
• BLS certification at hire and ongoing competency.
• CPI training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality direct and indirect patient-centered care.
• Coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary team and communicate changes promptly.
• Maintain safe, structured, therapeutic milieu with age-appropriate behavior management.
