Job summary

Ephraim McDowell Health is hiring a LPN/RN for Behavioral Health on a 7p-7a shift at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Inc. This full-time position works 36+ hours per week and provides opportunities to participate in patient-centered care within a supportive team.

The role involves nursing assessment, care planning, and leadership as charge nurse when designated; requires ADN graduate and KY RN license, BLS/ACLS and rhythm course.

Qualifications

• Must have ADN nursing degree and Kentucky RN license.
• BLS, ACLS and Basic Rhythm Course completed within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

• Assists with initial and ongoing patient assessments to participate in the plan of care.
• Implements patient care activities to deliver quality care.
• Maintains a safe environment and considers age-specific needs across lifespan.
• Demonstrates professional accountability and participates in leadership as charge nurse when designated.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education

Graduate of an accredited ADN nursing program

Current RN License in Kentucky

BLS certification (within 3 months of employment)

ACLS certification (within 1 year of employment)

Basic Rhythm Course (within 1 year of employment)
