Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop and revise the plan of care as patients' needs change.
• Document care provided and patient progress.
• Direct and supervise others in delegated nursing activities.
• Educate patients and families about the care plan.
• Prepare patients for discharge or procedures/tests.
• Manage time and resources to deliver care.
• Administer medications and provide direct patient care.
• Lead the health care team and serve as a resource on shift.
• Act as a preceptor for new employees.
