Job summary

Raleigh Oaks Behavioral Health in Garner, NC, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the day shift. You will provide nursing care, supervise LPNs/CNAs, and develop individual care plans while ensuring patient safety and accurate documentation.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR and de-escalation/restraint training, and 1+ year of nursing experience in a clinical/behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved/accredited school of nursing.
• One or more years’ nursing experience in related clinical area.
• Behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery experience preferred.
• CPR, de-escalation, and restraint certification required.
• Valid RN license in state or compact state.

Responsibilities

• Provides and coordinates care by assessing physical and behavioral health needs and develops care plans.
• Maintains medical records and educates patients and families about health conditions.
• Transcribes and reviews orders; administers medications with patient identifiers.
• Communicates with treatment team and documents hand-off reports on shift.
• Monitors patient acuity and staffing needs; participates in unit activities.
