Job summary

Garner Behavioral Hospital LLC is seeking an RN Manager for Day Shift at Raleigh Oaks Behavioral Health in Garner, North Carolina. Qualifications

BSN degree preferred; RN license in state.
Three or more years of RN experience; two+ years in behavioral health.
Experience with inpatient psychiatric services for children, adolescents, adults, chemically dependent and/or dually diagnosed patients.
Experience with medication teaching and management of the therapeutic milieu; in-service training.

Responsibilities

Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to meet patients’ physical, biopsychosocial, age, development and cultural needs.
Monitors nursing practices to assure quality patient care and safe staff performance.
Manages staff scheduling and staffing plans to ensure adequate coverage across shifts.
Oversees budgets, expenditures and performance improvement initiatives within the unit.
Provides leadership and guidance to staff, supports education and training programs.
