Job summary

Emerson Health in Massachusetts is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for our Behavioral Health team. The role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus, day shift, and a pay range of $37.88–$75.78 per hour.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families with education and compassionate care. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited nursing program, MA RN license, BLS, and CPI within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program required.
• Massachusetts RN license required (or eligible).
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required; CPI within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to behavioral health patients using the nursing process.
• Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and monitor progress throughout treatment.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Support patients and families through education, communication, and compassionate care.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients experiencing mental health crises.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records in the electronic health system.
• Follow regulatory, hospital, and professional nursing standards to ensure high-quality care.
