Walden Behavioral Care in Dedham, MA is hiring Registered Nurses for all shifts. Full-time positions offer a sign-on bonus of $5,000 and a competitive benefits package. Nurses provide direct patient care and participate in care planning within a dynamic psychiatric treatment setting.

Shifts include day, evening, and overnight with rotating weekends. Massachusetts RN license and CPR certification are required along with a minimum of two years’ psychiatric experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 2 years' prior psychiatric experience.
• Massachusetts RN license.
• CPR Certification required prior to employment.
• Knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, crisis management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of nursing leadership.
• Maintain patient health, teach and counsel, plan and restore function.
• Develop patient-specific crisis plans with the treatment team.
• Document patient information timely in MAR and records.
• Assess vital signs and communicate with physician.
• Act as charge nurse when assigned.
