Job summary

BayCare Health Systems in the Tampa Bay area is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Pool RN to join St Joseph's North Behavioral Health Hospital in Lutz. This role supports the ECT program and follows nursing processes and clinical standards.

Requirements include BLS, ACLS, and an RN license in Florida, with an Associate's or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). At least 2 years of acute care RN experience is expected, with tuition reimbursement and 401(k) matching as benefits.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida (or eligible).
• Minimum 2 years RN experience in acute care.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• BSN preferred for ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Independently care for a group of patients using nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to the health care team.
• Maintain professional accountability and ongoing development.
• Float to ECT Program as needed.

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced a Behavioral Health Pool RN to join our outstanding and compassionate team at St Joseph's North Behavioral Health Hospital in Lutz ! This position will also work within the ECT (Electroconvulsive Therapy) Program.

The Behavioral Health Clinical Nurse Department Pool I is responsible for:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Float to ECT Program

Position Details:

• Location: St Joseph's Hospital North Behavioral Health
• Status: Pool
• Non-Exempt: No
• Schedule: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM
• Shift: Days
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS(Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• RN (Registered Nurse) License

Required Education :

• Required Associate's or Diploma in Nursing
• Preferred Bachelor's in Nursing

Experience:

• Required 2 years RN experience in an Acute Care Setting
• Preferred experience in Critical Care or a Procedural area
