• Bachelor's or master's degree in behavioral health or a related field required.
• Bachelor's degree in any field acceptable with relevant experience.
• Associate’s degree plus two years of behavioral health work experience.
• High school diploma/equivalency with four years of behavioral health work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling and supervision of clients in individual and group settings as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain client records including evaluation, follow-up, and closure activities per guidelines.
• Offer supportive counseling and training in daily living skills such as hygiene, nutrition, budgeting, and meal preparation.
• Intervene in crisis situations to avert potential crises and ensure safety.
• Observe and report on nursing functions such as medication effects, nutrition, and infection control.
• Assist in planning and evaluating client activities and outcomes; advocate for clients and families.
