Job summary

Start Corporation in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a LCSW or LPC to provide program management and clinical supervision to an ACT team serving adults with severe mental health symptoms. The role requires a Master’s degree in social services and licensure, with potential for advancement and complex coordination of clinical services.

The position emphasizes leadership, quality assurance, licensing compliance, and collaboration with administration to optimize service delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social services field is required.
• LCSW or LPC certification is required.
• Advanced practice license in good standing or eligible within 1 year is required.
• Minimum of two years of managerial experience preferred.
• No restrictions or adverse actions for Medicaid or other billing is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides broad management for program(s) with combined total annual budgets of less than $750,000.
• Provides supervision, clinical consultation and review, assignment of cases, and overall management for their clinical team.
• Provides performance data and reports regularly to the Program Director 3.
• Monitors quality of all clinical services and compliance with ethical standards, licensing, accreditation, contracts, etc.
• Continuously monitors and evaluates the program for efficiency, effectiveness, opportunities to reduce operation costs, risks and liabilities.
• Identifies areas of risk and responds appropriately.
• Communicates with administration regarding needs for efficient operation, such as training needs and equipment.
• Ensures safety and security of the facility’s environment, clients, staff, and sensitive information.
• Provides supportive services for clients and arranges services from community resources based on the case plan.
• Participates in setting case plan goals/objectives and completes case plans with clients.
• Interviews clients, families, etc. and completes assessments and other clinical documentation.
• May provide direct clinical services.
• Maintains a clear driving record to drive company vehicles for client transportation.
• Attends and leads weekly/monthly staff meetings.
• Analyzes monthly billing and collaborates with a third party billing company.
• May assist with clinical consultation, clinical review, or auditing of clinical records.
